Motorola EX109 Dual SIM Mobile Review

Motorola Erin EX109 is a Quad brand Dual SIM phone budget mobile phone in India from Motorola. It features a full QWERTY keyboard. It just doesn’t have the Blackberry design but it also steps up to meet your basic business needs. It supports the POP email and social networking apps like twitter and facebook. It is a Dual SIM GSM Phone and its Price in India is Rs.3,250. It should be a much preferred phone over the cheap QWERTY phones in India offered by brands like Micromax, Spice, Karbonn etc. Motorola EX109 will out perform the market of Nokia C3 also since it has dual SIM which C3 doesn't have.



Display:
Erin 109 features a TFT display on a 2 inch screen with a resolution of 220 x 176 pixels. With a QWERTY keyboard design one would have expected a display size much larger than a couple of inches but Motorola seems to have other ideas.

Size and Design:
The mini QWERTY keyboard phone from Motorola is 102mm in length. The total width is 59.5mm. The keyboard is compact but still a good one and easy to use. It is not the slimmest one though with a depth of 12.8mm.

Camera:
It features a 2MP camera with maximum image resolution of 1600x1200 pixels. It records QCIF video at 14fps. However the video player is able to play video up to 30fps. The camera lacks auto focus and LED flash but has the digital zoom.

Storage Capacity:
It has an internal storage capacity of 50MB but the memory can be extended with the help of SD memory card that is supported up to 32GB. A 2GB card is also included in the pack.

Connectivity:
The budget dual SIM phone from Motorola comes with the basic connectivity features like GPRS and WAP. It also fulfills the much needed Bluetooth connectivity with Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DPand EDR and micro USB 2.0, HS.

Battery:
It comes with Standard Li-Ion 750 mAh battery that is capable of providing up to 500 hours of standby time and 8 hours 20 min of talk time.

Other features:
Apart from the pre-installed social networking options it also has the stereo FM radio with RDS and recording capability. Java application can be installed on the device. The music player supports multiple formats like Midi, WB, AMR, AAC, AAC+, eAAC and MP3. The budget phone from Motorola will certainly attract the customers who want to pack dual networks in a single device with decent social networking and multimedia features at an affordable price.
