Recently Nokia launched few Dual SIM Phones in India. Since Nokia is losing out in the high range mobile market because of Android Era, Nokia took a smart step to capture the mid range and low range mobile market in India. Since the major mobile market of India lies within that range. Nokia Dual SIM Mobile Phones are quite decent and very much reliable than the ones released by brands like Micromax, Karbonn etc. Nokia currently has 4 dual SIM Mobile phones available in India. This is as of September,2011. In this post we will talk in brief about each of them.

 

NokiaC2-03:

 NokiaC2-03 is an entry level Dual SIM phone from Nokia.  It is the simplest of the phones and the first look at it may bring to minda mid range handset from nineties but the phone actually makes a lot of senseand is packed with decent features as well. NokiaX1-01 is one from the Nokia Express music range. One can call it a Walkman withphone features. X1-01 is quiet impressive, again at a low price you can fulfillyour needs of dual SIM working at the same time. It also offer wonderful musicplayer with excellent battery. You can enjoy up to 36hrs of non stop music withNokia X1-01. The talk time is up to 13hrs, which will definitely impress theusers as we haven't seen many dual SIM phone having that good a battery. Nokia 101:

Nokia 101is somewhat a little advance than the brother Nokia 100. Nokia 101 features anMP3 player and supports microSD memory card up to 16GB. Nokia 101 Dual SIM Mobile Review

In a bid to hold the fort in low range mobile phones market in India, Nokia recently launched their cheap Dual SIM Mobile phone, Nokia 101 in India. Nokia 101 is a Dual SIM GSM Mobile with basic features such as 1.8 Inch screen, FM Radio and expandable memory. It is a very basic dual SIM phone but would really be a good choice if you are just looking for a phone which only does one thing i.e. normal talking :). Nokia 101 Price in India is Rs.1,600 

 

Sizeand Design:

The phone weighs only 69.9g to start offwith. It has a compact design having a width of only 45.5mm. It is 110mm longand 14.9mm thick. The phone is available in Phantom Black, Coral Red colors.

It features 1.8 inch TFT screen having 65Kcolors support and resolution of 128 x 160. The pixel density is 114ppi.


Camera:

We would have loved to have a camera inhere but unfortunately Nokia 101 has no place for it.

StorageCapacity:

The internal memory can hold up to 500contacts. What you also have is a microSD card slot that can support up to16GBof card.

Connectivity:

What is the most disappointing aspect ofthe phone is no support for GPRS. Anyways itne paise mein itna hi milega ;)

Battery:

It features a Li-Ion 1020 mAh (BL-5C) whichcan provide up to 768 h of standby by time and up to 8 h 30 min of talk time.

OtherFeatures:

It also features a flashlight, MP3 player, Organizerand Predictive text input.

LG T515 Dual SIM Touchscreen Mobile in India

LG Mobiles India have launchedyet another entry level dual SIM Touchscreen mobile phone in India, the LG T515.  It is a Java based Dual SIM Mobile phone with 2.8 Inch TFT Touchscreen, 2MP Camera, Wi-Fi and bluetooth. However, It lacks 3G Connectivity, which makes it less favourable in current Indian mobile market. LG T515 Price in India is Rs.5,000

 

Size and Design:

LG T515 comeswith a decent bar form factor; the phone is 105mm in length with edgescompletely curved giving it more of a bar of soap like look. The huge screendominates the front view of the cell phone. The design is not the slimmest andsleekest; T515 is about 57.5mm wide and 12.9mm in depth. However it is not theheaviest weighing about 105g. 

Display:

It features a3.2 inch QVGA capacitive touch screen with screen resolution of 240*320 pixelsand 262K color support. The large screen makes the phone well suited towatching videos.

Camera:

The camera is amust feature of every cell phone these days. Even the budget smart phones arefeaturing a 3MP camera with decent video recording and image enhancingfeatures. A 2MP camera in T515 is rather disappointing especially having noautofocus and LED flash to go with it. It supports unlimited video recording.There isn’t any secondary camera in the device.

Storage Capacity:

We found theinternal memory of 4GB in the device quiet encouraging, not too many budgetphones are having that much of internal memory. Greater internal memory isprobably one feature that  is separating aquality mobile manufacturer from an ordinary one as seen in the market. Itsupports external memory expansion up to 32GB via SD memory card.

Connectivity:

The phonesupports dual brand GSM 900/1800 MHz meaning that it is supports dual SIMs. Italso has a Bluetooth and microUSB 2.0.

Our Opinion:
Buy this mobile only if you are planning to buy any Chinese in India box phones from Micromax, Spice, Karbonn etc. Otherwise this phone has nothing special to offer.

 

Spice M-6450 Dual SIM Mobile Review

Spice Mobiles has managed to make a decent no of fans ever since they decided to step into the Indian mobile market. Not only have they been able to produce budget phones but their phones also cover all the much needed features on multiple fronts. Apart from that, stylish design and solid built can also be associated with spice mobile phones. The newest addition to their cell phones is the Spice M-6450. Its price in India is Rs.3,200. We have reviewed what this new budget phone from Spice has to offer.

Size and Design:
The phone has a block form factor with stylish and shinny metallic body. The shinny and glossy look impressed one and all straight away. Apart from the elegant look it also has sleek design. The phone is only 10.8 mm thick and just 49mm wide. It weighs round about a 100g.

Design:
Normally we are having a 2 inch screen on entry level cell phones in the market but Spice M-6450 features a 2.4 inch TFT QVGA screen with resolution of 240*320 pixels.

Camera:
It features a 2MP camera with maximum image resolution of 1200 * 1600 pixels. Unfortunately like most of the entry level devices in the market it lacks the LED flash. However it features night mode, multi shot and photo CLI. It records video at 10fps and video playing is up to 25fps.

Storage Capacity:
The phone really lacks big time when it comes to internal storage capacity having a mere 100KB of space. It has a memory card slot though that supports sd card up to 8GB.

Connectivity:
The phone has the basic connectivity features with GPRS, WAP, Bluetooth v2.0 and micro USB 2.0. It can also be used as a webcam.

Battery:
The 950mAH battery is able to provide up to 400 minutes of talk time and up to 200hrs of standby time.

Other important features of spice M6450 is that it supports dual SIMs so you can combine your networks in to a single phone. It comes with SRS WOWHD, offering you a unique listening experience. The SRS HD effect really enhances the stereo which widens the sound big time.

Motorola EX109 Dual SIM Mobile Review

Motorola Erin EX109 is a Quad brand Dual SIM phone budget mobile phone in India from Motorola. It features a full QWERTY keyboard. It just doesn’t have the Blackberry design but it also steps up to meet your basic business needs. It supports the POP email and social networking apps like twitter and facebook. It is a Dual SIM GSM Phone and its Price in India is Rs.3,250. It should be a much preferred phone over the cheap QWERTY phones in India offered by brands like Micromax, Spice, Karbonn etc. Motorola EX109 will out perform the market of Nokia C3 also since it has dual SIM which C3 doesn't have.

Display:
Erin 109 features a TFT display on a 2 inch screen with a resolution of 220 x 176 pixels. With a QWERTY keyboard design one would have expected a display size much larger than a couple of inches but Motorola seems to have other ideas.

Size and Design:
The mini QWERTY keyboard phone from Motorola is 102mm in length. The total width is 59.5mm. The keyboard is compact but still a good one and easy to use. It is not the slimmest one though with a depth of 12.8mm.

Camera:
It features a 2MP camera with maximum image resolution of 1600x1200 pixels. It records QCIF video at 14fps. However the video player is able to play video up to 30fps. The camera lacks auto focus and LED flash but has the digital zoom.

Storage Capacity:
It has an internal storage capacity of 50MB but the memory can be extended with the help of SD memory card that is supported up to 32GB. A 2GB card is also included in the pack.

Connectivity:
The budget dual SIM phone from Motorola comes with the basic connectivity features like GPRS and WAP. It also fulfills the much needed Bluetooth connectivity with Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DPand EDR and micro USB 2.0, HS.

Battery:
It comes with Standard Li-Ion 750 mAh battery that is capable of providing up to 500 hours of standby time and 8 hours 20 min of talk time.

Other features:
Apart from the pre-installed social networking options it also has the stereo FM radio with RDS and recording capability. Java application can be installed on the device. The music player supports multiple formats like Midi, WB, AMR, AAC, AAC+, eAAC and MP3. The budget phone from Motorola will certainly attract the customers who want to pack dual networks in a single device with decent social networking and multimedia features at an affordable price.

iBall Mobiles India have launched their latest Dual SIM Touchscreen mobile phone in India known as iBall Aura V36. It is a touchscreen mobile phone with Wi-Fi but No 3G. It features a 3 MP Camera, Bluetooth, FM Radio and good Social networking features. iBall Aura V36 price in India is Rs.4,900.

Aura V36 offers impressive connectivity features like WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and microUSB 2.0 however it lacks EDGE and 3G support.

Battery:
The phone has Li-Ion 1100mAH battery that can provide up to 7.5 hours of talk time and up to 200 hours of stand by time.

Motorola EX-119 QWERTY Mobile Review

The phone is noticeable for its QWERTY keyboard, sleek and light design and a decent 3.0MP camera. Motorola EX-119 features Dual SIM, 3 MP Camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and excellent social networking connectivity. This phone is going to have a good competition with other low price QWERTY mobiles in India like Samsung Chat series and Nokia X2-01. Motorola Ex-119 is now available in India at Price of Rs.5,500.

Size and Design:
Motorola has maintained a sleek and slim design even with the half and half QWERTY keyboard which is the best part of this new dual SIM phone. The phone is just 60mm wide and 12.8 mm thick. To go with the compactness the phone weighs only 87g.

It features a decent 2.4 inch QVGA TFT capacitive touchscreen with resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. The colors are nice and crisp and the display is quiet bright. A touchscreen to go with a QWERTY keyboard at an extremely affordable price is surely going to attract a lot of buyers.

Final Verdict:
Nokia C2-06 is a perfect choice for those looking to combine their multiple networks in a single device. The series 40 powered phone from Nokia also features Nokia Maps something that users don’t find in budget smart phones. The phone provides with the most basic multimedia and connectivity features but lacks the ones like EDGE and 3G and WI-Fi. The phone has a stylish design and shinny looks. Motorola EX212 has only 5MB of internal memory but has a support memory card slot to support the external memory expansion up to 16GB.The phone book can save up to 800 entries.

The phone lacks EDGE and 3G capabilities but has GPRS Class 12 that supports 32 - 48 kbps for internet browsing. Other connectivity features include Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP and EDR and micro USB 2.0.

Battery:
The phone has a Standard Li-Ion 750 mAH battery that is capable of providing up to 6h and 20 min of talk time and up to 500h of stand by time.

Other Features: Motorola EX 212 provides decent entertainment tools as well. It features a decent music and video player and an FM radio. MP3, WAV and eAAC formats can be played on the phone. You cab also change the casing according to your choice.

Spice M-6700 Mobile Review & Specs

Spice Mobiles have launched their latest Dual SIM Touchscreen mobile in India, the Spice M-6700. It is a nicely designed mobile phone with features such as Wi-Fi, Dual SIM, 3.2 MP Camera, 3.2 WQVGA Touchscreen, Java, FM and more. Its Price in India is Rs.3,600 and if we consider the features it is a cheap deal and will surely attract the low budget and mid budget mobile buyers.

Ergonomics:
The phone has a nice finish on the exterior with brown shades and therefore named cappuccino. The giant screen dominates the design with curved edges. The phone is 111mm long and 13.2mm thick. It weighs exactly a 100g.

The phone has a 1000mAh Li-ion rechargeable battery that provides up to 493 minutes of talk time and up to 234 hours of stand by time. This is quiet a decent talk and stand by time and very much comparable with the latest phones developed by the cellular giants

Applications:
The phone supports JAVA games and applications. It also has the incoming call guard feature and FM radio with recording capability.

Price and Final Verdict:
Spice M6700 has excellent multimedia and connectivity features. It also has decent display and battery power. The price of Rs.3,600 only is quiet attractive for a phone with such good specifications and it surely has the potential to gather the attention of the users.
