LG Mobiles India have announced their latest android mobile phone in India, the LG Optimus Pro C660. LG is expanding their range of android mobiles under the Optimus series exactly like Samsung is doing with their Galaxy series. The new LG Optimus Pro C660 is a Touch and Type mobile phone with 2.8 Inch Touchscreen and a QWERTY Keypad. It is an Android 2.3 based smartphone, which makes it the cheapest LG Android Mobile in India with Android 2.3 OS. It also feature 3G Connectivity, Wi-Fi , 3MP Camera and other decent features. LG Optimus Pro C660 Price in India is Rs.9,990 and it is going to make a good market for itself in the Mid-Range Android Mobiles market in India.

Size andDesign:
LG Optimus Pro is a compact QWERTY style smartphone with a 2.8 Inch Touchscreen. We say compact as the screen in the portrait format insteadof the conventional landscape format that is often found in business stylesmartphones. It is a little on the longer side, 119.5mm but you won’t feeluncomfortable to handle as it provides you space to either use the touch screenor the keyboard for different tasks. The width is 59.7 with total depth of12.9mm. It weighs 129g.

Display:
It features a 2.8 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with resolution of 240*320 pixels. The resolution is supported by 256Kcolors and the pixel density is 143ppi. It also has an accelerometer for userinterface auto rotate.

Camera:
The fact that the 3 MP camera of Optimus ProC660 lacks the auto focus and even the LED flash is rather disappointing.  The video recording is limited up to VGA at24fps. There’s also aren’t any image enhancing features but allows forgeo-tagging.

Processorand OS:
It features an 800 MHz processor on a Qualcomm MSM7227Tchipset and it runs the Android OS v2.3.3 (Gingerbread).

StorageCapacity:
The internal storage capacity of the phone is156 MB. It has 256MB of RAM and also supports memory extension up to 32GB viamicro SD memory card.

Connectivity:

Battery:
Its 1500mAH battery is capable of providing upto 4 hours of talk time and up to 100 hrs of stand by time

Our Conclusion:
A decent phone to buy, One of the best phone is the market today to experience Android 2.3 at a lower price. It will give a good fight to the likes of Samsung Galaxy Fit, Galaxy Pro and Nokia E5

LG T515 Dual SIM Touchscreen Mobile in India

LG Mobiles India have launchedyet another entry level dual SIM Touchscreen mobile phone in India, the LG T515.  It is a Java based Dual SIM Mobile phone with 2.8 Inch TFT Touchscreen, 2MP Camera, Wi-Fi and bluetooth. However, It lacks 3G Connectivity, which makes it less favourable in current Indian mobile market. LG T515 Price in India is Rs.5,000

Size and Design:
LG T515 comeswith a decent bar form factor; the phone is 105mm in length with edgescompletely curved giving it more of a bar of soap like look. The huge screendominates the front view of the cell phone. The design is not the slimmest andsleekest; T515 is about 57.5mm wide and 12.9mm in depth. However it is not theheaviest weighing about 105g.

Display:
It features a3.2 inch QVGA capacitive touch screen with screen resolution of 240*320 pixelsand 262K color support. The large screen makes the phone well suited towatching videos.

Camera:
The camera is amust feature of every cell phone these days. Even the budget smart phones arefeaturing a 3MP camera with decent video recording and image enhancingfeatures. A 2MP camera in T515 is rather disappointing especially having noautofocus and LED flash to go with it. It supports unlimited video recording. There isn’t any secondary camera in the device.

Storage Capacity:
We found theinternal memory of 4GB in the device quiet encouraging, not too many budgetphones are having that much of internal memory. Greater internal memory isprobably one feature that  is separating aquality mobile manufacturer from an ordinary one as seen in the market. Itsupports external memory expansion up to 32GB via SD memory card.

Connectivity:
The phonesupports dual brand GSM 900/1800 MHz meaning that it is supports dual SIMs. Italso has a Bluetooth and microUSB 2.0.

Our Opinion:
Buy this mobile only if you are planning to buy any Chinese in India box phones from Micromax, Spice, Karbonn etc. Otherwise this phone has nothing special to offer.

LG Optimus Pad Tablet in India Soon

After months of rumors LG has finally released the LG Optimus Pad rebadged as T-mobile G slate in the United States. There were also rumors about the tablet featuring 3D video capture together with a Glass free 3D display but they all indeed turned out to be nothing more than rumors. What’s true is that we have a Tablet powered by a Tegra 2 Processor and a 5MP front facing camera 3D capture but the display is not 3D by any means.  LG ptimus Pad is expected to hit Indian markets by October 2011

Size and Looks:
LG Optimus is only an 8.9 inch tablet smaller than the potential competitors Motorola Xoom and Samsung galaxy tab. LG claims that the tablet can be comfortably held in one hand but that may not be as comfortable because it is fairly heavy, weighing 630g even heavier than the much larger Apple iPad. but the idea is really to give the users a portable device with a bigger enough screen to watch movies on. As far as the looks are concerned it really lacks the wow factor as some of the other tablets around. It also doesn’t have the premium feel like that of iPad, infect feels more plastic rather than solid.

Screen:
The Optimus screen is quiet sharp and crisp. The resolution is high enough for a 8.9 inch tablet to give a nice and refined visual experience. The Motion is very responsive. The display however is not bright enough and suffers in direct sunlight but quiet efficient indoors and offers pleasurable viewing experience.

Camera:
Optimus features a Dual 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash and resolution of capturing resolution of 2560х1920 pixels. It supports stereoscopic photos & videos and geo-tagging as well. It is able to record 1080p 2D video at 24fps and captures 3D 720p video at 30fps. It also features a 2Mp front camera.

Processor And OS:
LG Optimus Pad features a dual-core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 proccessor powered by ULP GeForce GPU on a Tegra 2 T20 chipset. The processor runs Android 3.0 (Honeycom) processor.
Storage Capacity:
Optimus Tab offers a huge 32GB of internal storage capacity but does not have a card slot for memory expansion.

Final Verdict:
Optimus Pad offers an extremely potable design and decent enough display; it is going to be a tough competitor for Motorola Xoom and Samsung Tab but probably not the iPad.

HTC Incredible S vs Optimus Black Comparison

HTC Incredible S is one of the finest smartphones in India by HTC. It has carried forward the reputation of HTC Desire series quite successfully. LG on the other hand is quickly emerging as a new great competitor for the already established manufacturers in the smartphone world. The latest LG Smartphone in India is LG Optimus Black. Here we have compared LG’s super smart phone Optimus Black with HTC Incredible S which already has a good launching pad provided by the predecessors.

Design and Looks:
HTC incredible S comes with the traditional sleek design crafted of high grade materials. Incredible S is 120mm in length are certainly not the slimmest and lightest having a thickness of 11.7mm and weighing 135g. Optimus Black on the other hand has a very decent design with curved edges and bevel effect on the rear. It is 122mm in length and weighs only 109g. It is also one of the thinner phones around being only 9.2mm thick.

HTC Incredible S comes with S-LCD capacitive touch screen with the same screen resolution and color support as Optimus Black. Both phones have giant 4.0 inch screen size. The latest IPS LCD display of Optimus Black may just have a slight edge over the S-LCD panel in Incredible S.

Processor and OS:
HTC Incredible S features 1 GHz Scorpion processor powered by Adreno 205 GPU and Optimus Black comes with 1 GHz Cortex-A8 processor powered by Power SGX530 GPU. Incredible S features Android 2.2 which can be upgraded to Android 2.4 whereas Optimus Black runs on Android 2.2 which can be upgraded to Android 2.3. Not a great bit of difference between the two phones on this front.

Camera:
The biggest difference between the smart phones lies in the different camera resolution with HTC Incredible S featuring an 8MP camera with autofocus and dual LED flash in contrast to 5MP camera in Optimus Black with autofocus and LED flash. However, both phones are able to record HD 720p video at 30fps. LG Optimus Black also has a 2MP front camera in contrast to 1.3MP camera in Incredible S.

Final Verdict and Price:

On the basis of the most important features that are compared above we can say that Optimus Black has a clear advantage over Incredible S expect for its higher resolution camera. The price very much eliminates that advantage as well with Optimus Black priced around RS 18000 and HTC Incredible S around RS 24000.

Xperia Arc vs Optimus Black Comparison

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc and LG Optimus Black are two nice and powerful smartphones in India. Ever since its arrival, Xperia arc is getting the lion share from the market particularly because of the great reputation of the Xperia series. LG on the other hand is emerging as the new tough competitor for the smart phones giants especially on the Android based devices. Optimus Black is LG's most recent Android smartphone in India which is quiet capable of attracting the Android fans. We have compared the important specification of Xperia Arc and Optimus Black to see if Black has any chance of getting the better of Arc.

Design and Looks:
Optimus Black is sleek, slim and light weighing only 109g and only 9.2mm thick. The design is pure and simple with nice finish on the exterior and holds nicely in the hands. Xperia Arc has a clear advantage when it comes to a better design and looks.

Display:
Optimus Black has the latest 4.0 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, and 16M color support. The display is extremely bright, clear and most readable compared to the other LCD panels around. Xperia Arc has 4.2 inch LED-backlit LCD, capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and 16M color support and mobile Bravia engine. Overall both smart phones have excellent display but Optimus black has a slight advantage.

Camera:
The major difference between the two phones is the camera resolution with Xperia Arc having 8.1MP with touch focus, geo-tagging, image stabilization and face and smile detection features. Optimus Black has 5MP camera with geo tagging and face and smile detection features. Both smart phones are able to record HD 720p video at 30 fps.

Processor and OS:
Both smart phones have processing power of 1Ghz. Optimus black has android 2.2 which can be upgraded to Android 2.3, and Arc already has the latest Android 2.3

Storage Capacity:
Arc has 320MB of internal storage compared to 2GB in Optimus black; both smart phones have 512MB of RAM and memory card support up to 32GB. Optimus black has the clear edge again.

Conclusion:
Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc has a higher resolution camera but Optimus Black has been able to compete as well as win in other important features. Xperia Arc price in India is Rs.27,499 and LG Optimus Black Price in India is Rs.19,500. However, if we see value for money, then Optimus Black wins in all aspects.

Optimus Black vs Desire S Comparison

LG Optimus Black Vs HTC Desire S mobile comparison is a contest between two decent Android OS based smartphones in India,  that promises to provide the user with all the latest features. We have compared the two devices to find out which one is more likely to win the hearts of the Android fans.

Design And size:
Both phones have a block form factor with giant touchscreens. Optimus Black is quiet slim with only 9.2mm of thickness, it also weighs just 109g. HTC desire is not as slim as Optimus Black but definitely has a more catchy and stylish design. It is 11.2mm thick and weighs 130g which is just about good. Even though Optimus Black is lighter and slimmer, it is wider and longer than Desire S. With a better design HTC Desire S just about steels the looks show.

Display:
HTC Desire S features the S LCD capacitive touchscreen panel while Optimus black has the more latest IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen which is brighter and more vibrant than the S LCD of Desire S. Optimus Black also has 4 inch of screen size which gets the better of 3.7 inch touchscreen of Desire S, making it a clear winner on the display front.

Processor and OS:
HTC Desire S is powered by 1 GHz processor housed in a Ti-OMAP chipset and runs the latest Android 2.3(Gingerbread). Optimus Black also features 1Ghz processor with Adreno 205GPU. It runs Android 2.2 which is upgradeable to the latest Android2.3. There is not a lot of difference in processing powers and OS of these smart phones, so very much a tie here.

Camera:
Both phones feature 5MP auto focus primary camera with LED flash and resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels, both smart phone have the ability to record HD 720p videos at 30fps but LG with its 2MP front camera compared to the secondary VGA camera in HTC desire just takes the lead.

Conclusion

Both phones have features that are very much similar to each other with one only managing to take slight advantage over the other. However the better looks of HTC Desire S can still over shadow its slight disadvantages against Optimus Black. However our recommendation would be LG Optimus Black.

Optimus Black vs Galaxy Ace Comparison

LG Optimus Black and Samsung Galaxy Ace are two Android based smartphones in India with rather similar kind of looks. Currently Optimus Black is considered to be the best android phone in India under the range of Rs.20,000 and Galaxy Ace is the best selling android mobile in India. We have compared the important features of these two Android smart phones to see if they match in the features as well.

Design and Looks:
Both phones have the simplest of design with hardly anything extravagant and over done. Optimus black is a very slim block with only 9.2mm of thickness and weighing only 109g. Galaxy Ace is more on the thicker side with a thickness of 11.5mm but weighs still just 113g.

Display:
Galaxy Arc has the rather old fashioned capacitive TFT touchscreen with resolution of 320 x 480 pixels and 16M color support and screen size of 3.5 inches. Processor And OS:
Optimus Black features 1 GHz Cortex-A8 processor powered by power VR GPU and runs Android 2.2(froyo).Galaxy Ace has 800MHz ARM 11 processor with Adreno 200 GPU, it also runs Android 2.2(froyo). The OS in both smart phones is upgradeable to Android2.3 (Gingerbread).

Storage Capacity:
Optimus Black has 2GB of internal storage capacity whereas Galaxy Ace only has 158MB of internal storage. The storage can be extended in both phones via sd memory card up to 32GB.

Connectivity:
Both smart phones have Bluetooth v1.2 with A2DP and wifi support. There also have the micro USB v2.0 support.

Conclusion:
As it comes out the Galaxy Ace hardly match in the features with Optimus Black. Optimus Black comfortably outshining the galaxy Ace with more advanced and power packed features. There is not a huge difference in the processing power and camera performance of the two smart phones so a significantly lower price of Galaxy Ace is probably the only way for it to get over the fence when it's competing against the Optimus Black. However here Price plays an important role, If you have a budget of Rs.20,000 then you should surely go for Optimus Black but in case you have a lower budget then Galaxy Ace is a good choice.

Current Price as of July 15th: Galaxy Ace is Rs.14,000 and Optimus Black is Rs.19,000

Samsung has been quiet successful with its Galaxy series phones in India and LG is consistently improving on its Android based Optimus smartphones series in India. The mobile comparison between the two is getting stiff on the Android front and both are trying hard to keep up with the market demands. Two very evenly matched Android OS based smartphones from these two manufacturers are LG Optimus Black and  Samsung Galaxy S LCD I9003. We have compared the important features of these smartphones to find out which one has an advantage over the other.

Design and Size:
Both phones have an elegant design with nice finish on the exterior and fits nicely in the hands. Optimus Black is extremely sleek being only 9.2mm thick and weighing 109g. Galaxy S on the other hand is not so slim and also heavier, it weighs 131g and 10.6mm thick.

Display:
Optimus Black features the latest IPS capacitive touchscreen LCD with 16M color support and resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. Galaxy S has the SC (Super Clear) LCD capacitive touchscreen with same color and resolution support as Optimus Black. Both the display’s are better than the other LCD panels around but nothing much to choose between the two.

Processor and OS:
Both the smart phones feature the same 1 GHz Cortex A8 processor powered by PowerVR GPU on TI OMAP chipset. OS in both phones is Android 2.2, but Optimus Black enables it to be upgraded to the latest Android 2.3 unlike Galaxy S.

Camera:
On the camera front again both the smart phones are having the features that are very much the same. They feature 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash and a resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels. HD 720p video recording at 30fps is supported in both the devices. Optimus Black again takes a slight edge having a 2MP secondary camera compared to a VGA camera in Galaxy S.

Optimus Black vs Samsung Nexus S Comparison

This Mobile Phone comparison is between two best smartphones in India currently. LG and Samsung both have been consistently striving to attract the market share from their Android OS based devices. Both of them have been able to produce extremely powerful as well as elegant smartphones in India in their quest. This time around we compare the two very much evenly matched devices as far as functionality and features are concerned, LG Optimus Black and Samsung Google Nexus S.

Design and Size:
Both phones have bar shaped design with Nexus S having curved edges and Optimus Black with edges not as curved as Nexus S. Optimus Black weighs only 109g and only 9.2mm thick. Nexus S is on the thicker side with thickness of 10.9mm and also quiet heavier weighing 129g. Optimus Black being much lighter and thinner is ahead in this little contest.

Display:
Optimus Black features the new IPS LCD capacitive gorilla glassed touchscreen which surely is better than then other LCD panels around but not as good as Super AMOLED TFT capacitive touchscreen of Nexus S. The display is actually a curved glass display which Samsung calls the “contour display” and claims it to feel more pleasant against the face. The screen size of both the phones is 4.0 inches with 16M colors and resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. Nexus S with its super AMOLED takes the lead on the display front.

Processor and OS:
Nexus S features 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor powered by PowerVR GPU and Hummingbird chipset. Optimus Black also has the same 1 GHz processor and GPU with TI OMP chipset. Nexus S features the latest Android 2.3(Gingerbread) and Optimus Black comes with Android 2.2 which upgradeable to Android 2.3. Both devices have the same processing power and OS, so no one has the advantage here.

Camera:
Both the smart phones feature a 5MP camera with autofocus and LED flash. Optimus black has the slight advantage though; it is able to record HD 720p video at 30fps unlike Nexus S which record WVGA video at 30fps. Optimus Black also has a 2MP secondary camera much better than secondary VGA camera in Nexus S.

Storage Capacity:
Nexus S provides huge 16GB of internal storage and 512MB of RAM to go with it. Optimus S has internal storage capacity of 2GB with same 512MB of RAM. External storage can be up to 32GB via SD memory card. Nexus S with greater internal storage capacity is slightly ahead on this front.

Conclusion:
Comparing different features we haven’t really seen a major difference between the two smart phones. Nexus S has a better display and storage capacity while Optimus Black evens it out with better camera performance and its light weight and slim design. However If I have to choose among them, I will go for LG Optimus Black!

HTC Incredible S vs LG Optimus 2X Comparison

Smartphones in India is the flavor currently for all mobile users in India. This is the era of featured packed powerful smartphones. The smartphone giants are trying their very best to gain the top spot in the race. LG and HTC introduced their power packed Smartphones recently. LG Optimus 2X and HTC Incredible S goes head to head in this battle of giants and let’s us see who comes on top.

Display:
For many display is the most important feature when they are looking to buy a phone. The importance is even more when it’s the smartphone that you are looking to buy. There haven’t been many smartphones with 4.0 inch display in the market but it seems that LG and HTC has laid the foundation of this new trend. Both Optimus2X and Incredible S have 4 inch capacitive touch screens with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and 16M color support. The display is gorilla glass with touch sensitive controls in both the smart phones, so nothing much to choose from as far as the display is concerned.

Design:
Both the smart phones have same block form with Optimus 2X having a rather serious look compared to Incredible S which is more on the stylish side. Body is black; Incredible S is also available in red. There’s a slight difference in weight with Optimus 2x weighing 139g compared to 135.5 of Incredible S.

Processor And OS:
The power of the smart phone is determined by its processor and Optimus 2x is a clear winner in this regard with a 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 Dual Core processor. When Optimus 2x was released it was the first time that that a smart phone featured a dual core processor. Incredible S has 1 GHz Scorpion processor, simply not enough to match Optimus 2X even with 768MB of RAM compared to 512MB. Both smart phones have Android 2.2 Froyo which is upgradeable to later versions.

Camera:
Both the smart phones have 8 MP, 3264x2448 pixels, autofocus camera with LED flash. Optimus 2x is again in front with ability to record HD video at 1080p compared to 720p of Incredible S. Both smart phones also have a 1.3MP front camera.

Connectivity:
Incredible S offers 40% faster data transfer speed over all network with HSPDA 14.4Mbps compared to 10.2Mbps of Optimus 2X. There is Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, WIFI hotspot and micro USB2.0 support in both the phones.

Price in India:
HTC Incredible S is currently available in India at a Price of Rs.26,000 and LG Optimus 2X is soon to arrive in India. It will be in the range of Rs.25,000 to 30,000

The battle is very much evenly matched on most fronts but LG Optimus 2x clearly out powers the Incredible S when it comes to the Processing power. So the ultimate choice would be LG Optimus 2X if you are looking to get your hands on a powerful smart phone.

LG Optimus 2X vs Samsung Galaxy SII Comparison

LG Optimus 2X is regarded to be one of the most powerful smartphone seen so far infact it is the first smartphone with a dual core processor. Optimus 2X had a very decent run after its release in February this year but now it is starting to see some serious competitions with the smartphone market getting crowded with more and more powerful devices. The latest addition to this heavy weight category is the Samsung Galaxy S II. Here we have compared the important features and specifications of these two giants to see which one comes on top.

Design:
Both phones have the same block form factor which is hardly stylish but they are still elegant and slim with nice finish. Galaxy S II is a little wider than Optimus2x but slightly less thick. It also weighs only 116g compared to 139g of Optimus2X. I think in the end there’s nothing much to choose from as far as the design is concerned and it all comes down to which one fits more perfectly in your hand.

Display
Galaxy S II had a Super AMOLED TFT 4.3 inch touch screen with 16M color support and a standard resolution of 480*800. Optimus2X features less modern TFT Capacitive touch screen with the same resolution and color support It is quiet responsive but the crisp Super AMOLED of Galaxy S II simply has no match.

Camera:
Both smart phones are powered by 8MP cameras. The LED flash camera of both the devices with autofocus offers geo-tagging, face and smile detection, image stabilization and touch focus. Both phones are capable of recording HD 1080p video. Samsung manages to take slight edge in camera race with it 2mp front camera compared to 1.3MP of Optmimus2X.

Processor And OS:
Samsung Galaxy S2 has 1.2 Ghz Dual core processor and Optimus 2x has 1 Ghz Dual core processor. Samsung Galaxy S II has the Samsung’s own Exynos dual core processor while Optimus 2x uses Nvidia Tegra 2. The powerful processors run Android 2.3 OS in Galaxy S II and Android 2.2(Froyo) in LG Optimus2X which is upgradeable to Android 2.3.

Storage Capacity:
As far as the storage capacity is concerned Samsung again out powers the rival with 1GB of RAM and 16/ 32GB internal memory. Optimus2X has 512Mb RAM and 8GB of internal memory. The Storage capacity of both the devices can be increased by SD card support up to 32GB.

Connectivity:
The connectivity features of both the device are very much the same with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n support and wifi Hot Spot feature and USB 2.0 support but Samsung has the latest Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP compared to 2.1 with A2DP. It also has USB on the go feature.

Final Verdict:
Undoubtedly both phones are feature packed and powerful devices but Samsung Galaxy S II has a clear edge over LG Optimus2X in most of the important smartphone features but this doesn’t mean a defeat for Optimus2X, it still has a decent display, a very good camera and a powerful processor which most of the smart phones are unable to match. They are priced almost equally and expected in India at a Price of Rs.30,000 to 32,000

Sony Ericsson continues to extend its Xperia range with the release of new Xperia smartphone in India called the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc. Xperia has been a favored choice of many Sony Ericsson fans with the earlier version having a very good run. Smartphone market in India is however getting really very competitive. LG Optimus 2x seems to be the top competitor for Sony Ericsson Arc at the moment which promises to be one real good LG Smartphone in India. This Post discusses in brief the mobile phone comparison of Xperia Arc vs Optimus 2X

Looks and Display:
Both phones are looking to keep up with the modern traditions of slim design with a bigger screen. Xperia Arc has a 4.2 inch TFT capacitive touch screen with LED back light. Optimus 2x has 4.0 inch capacitive TFT touch screen but doesn’t feature the LED backlight. Optimus 2x has a very simple look while Xperia Arc looks more stylish and light, weighing 117g compared to 139g of Optimus 2x.

Operating System:
Both phones use the Android OS with Xperia having the latest v2.3 (Gingerbread) and Optimus has v2.2 (Froyo) upgradeable to Gingerbread, so nothing much to choose from but Arc surely has a slight advantage.

Processor:
LG Optimus 2x is clearly ahead on the processor race being the first phone that uses a Dual Core processor. It is 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A9 type with ULP GeForce GPU. Xperia Arc has the second generation Single Core 1 GHz Scorpion processor with Adreno 205 GPU. The performance difference can be clearly noticed when playing HD video with Optimus playing up to 1080p compared to Arc which plays only up to 720p video.

Camera:
Both Android smart phones go head to head with there 8MP cameras, 3264x2448 pixels, autofocus, and LED flash features. The Exmor R technology from Sony Ericsson enables Xperia Arc to produce more detailed images and perform better in low light conditions compared to Optimus 2x. Optimus 2x on the other hand also supports video calling with a 1.3MP front facing camera and record 1080p HD video compared to 720p of Xperia Arc.

Storage Capacity:
Optimus 2x once again has a clear edge when it comes to the storing capacity. Both phones have 512MB of RAM but Optimus has an Internal Memory of 8GB compared to just 320MB of Xperia Arc. Storage capacity can further be increased with SD card supportive up to 32GB in both the phones.

Price in India:

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc Smartphone Price in India is Rs.30,000. Buy It Online at Rs.28,499

LG Optimus 2X Price in India is Rs.30,000

Major Differences:
  • Optimus 2X has better Processor, Its Dual Core
  • Optimus 2X has better Video Quality, Its 1080p
  • Optimus 2X has Video Calling, It is missing in Arc
  • Arc has the latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS

Conclusion:
Both the smart phones are an excellent choice. If it’s the looks that matter to you than surely Xperia Arc is the one you would prefer but if you are looking for a more power full device than the obvious choice would be LG Optimus 2x with its dual core processor. My Vote Goes for LG Optimus 2X.
